WHO IS BISSELL PET FOUNDATION?
Bissell Pet Foundation exists to assist animal welfare organizations in addressing the pet overpopulation crisis. Since 2016, their Empty the Shelters program has moved over 96,000 pets from shelters into forever homes. Their events are held quarterly and have been proven successful by over 512 organizations in 47 different states. In 2021 alone, BPF provided shelters over $2.4 Million in Empty the Shelters grants. 

WHAT IS EMPTY THE SHELTERS?
As our nation’s shelters are overburdened due to increased owner surrenders and longer stays for pets, BISSELL Pet Foundation is prompting a national call for adoption with its Spring National “Empty the Shelters” reduced-fee adoption event. From May 1-15, 2023, BISSELL Pet Foundation will partner with Dogtopia to sponsor reduced adoption fees at participating shelters nationwide. MaxFund Animal Adoption Center is one of more than 350 organizations across the country participating in this lifesaving event to place deserving pets in loving homes.
