Meeting Ernie was love at first sight.  He was only 6 months old and had no known history.  We knew we were taking a chance on a puppy who might not be emotionally stable, but he was too cute to pass up. 

So we took Ernie home on a foster basis in late April of 2006, knowing we would adopt him as soon as his kennel cough cleared up and he could be neutered.  On the first night, we knew he was already part of the family.  We learned quickly that he is a wonderful, sweet, and loving dog.  Ernie loves belly rubs, playing fetch, and going for long walks (in warm weather!).  He gives the most wonderful welcome when we come home and he is happy to give a lot of kisses. 

Ernie is the sweetest dog we could have ever asked for.  He is a healthy, happy puppy and we love him very much.  Thank you to the Maxfund for saving his life so he could spend it with us.
