Hello! My name is Little Bear, and I came all the way from an Indian reservation in New Mexico to get the love and attention I so needed at MaxFund. Life on the reservation was hard, and I have been learning to trust people again since I’ve been here.

I’m not one to brag, but I have come a LONG way! I’m a sweet, smart, and very handsome boy who is going to make a great addition to the right home. I’m looking for some people who have lots of love and patience- if you show me that, I will show you how loving I can be too!

I have some really adorable traits that make me more unique than your average dog and are guaranteed to make you smile! Ask to meet me! I'm a heart-breaker, for sure. I’m just a perfect gentleman on my harness, and I love other dogs! In fact, being around other dogs is a big confidence booster for me- I’m happiest when I have a friend around (but aren’t we all?).

I don’t have a lot of experience with cats or children, but I haven’t had any trouble with them. However, because of my breed, my herding instincts may tempt me to round up toddlers in the home, so I may do best in a home with no kids, or older kids.

Puppy Kindergarten is required for my adoption. I need it for extra socialization and to boost my self-confidence. I’m in foster right now, so please email fosters@maxfundvolunteers.org to set up a time to meet fabulous me!
