I’m Missy and I am a sweet girl! I have long black hair and I just love it when you brush me! I absolutely love when you pet me too. I am really a people cat.
I LOVE toys. Ow wow! Playing with string or a laser light is heaven for me. I will leap in the air and run around the room. You'd think I was a spry young kitten. Of course, I am young. Chasing toys and playing is the best!!!!
Not long ago, some volunteers took me to a cat show to try to get me adopted. Sadly, no one adopted me. But I was sooooo good and so brave. I just sat in the front of my cage looking all pretty and letting people pet me. I didn't cry or get scared at all. I was perfect! The cat show was a pure breed show. Some experts said I looked like I am a Siberian mix. I am not a pure bred cat, but I may have Siberian in me. So see...I look exotic too. I have personality and breeding and looks!
When I first got here, I got a little overwhelmed by all the cats in the room, so I wanted my own cage. I lived in a cage for quite a long time, and now I am free roaming. But I hate when the cats come too near me, so I sometimes swipe at them. I never do much; I just give a little warning. If you have cats at home, they may scare me at first. But then I think I'd be fine.
I am mild mannered and I get along with kids too. For some reason, I have been at MaxFund for too long. Maybe it's because I am a black long haired cat. I look like many other cats here, so maybe I blend in too much. Or maybe it's because I was in a cage so long. I don't understand why. I'm a wonderful girl who would make someone very happy. Is that you? Please come get me. I don't want to stay here any longer. I have already been here too long.
